Finish and upholster your own ottoman!With a new footstool frame, we will start by choosing fabric, ordering and buying tools, if needed. Take your ottoman frame home to finish or paint the wood. Come back for the next lesson two weeks later and upholster your own ottoman! All sewing will be done for you, supplies will be measured and cut, you just have to staple!

We'll touch on the basics: evaluating pieces, choosing fabrics, using the tools, ordering supplies, and learning essential techniques to strip, rebuild, and re-cover. You’ll leave with a fascination of the skills that are needed—and a new found confidence—to tackle your own projects at home. No experience necessary—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Come ready to see how you can transform the forgotten and sometimes discarded into something beautiful.
